Coven Blackthorn and Birch was founded in January 2023 with a focus on community, empathy, and the sharing of knowledge and ideas. As a coven of the American Tradition of the Goddess, we follow all rites and traditions while observing monthly Esbats and the 8 Sabbats of the Wheel of the Year. We are an eclectic Wiccan group that welcomes all beliefs that fall under the Wiccan rede of harming none.

How We Got Here
Isolde Blackthorn began her journey in summer of 2011, with an eclectic Wiccan circle Coven of the Blue Moon Dragon, lead by High Priestess Raven. After receiving her first degree Isolde practiced her craft remotely as she lived abroad during her time in the Air Force. After moving back to the states in 2016, Isolde settled in Arlington, Texas and began her journey with The American Tradition of the Goddess. While serving as Maiden in Circle of the Ancient Mother and completing all requirements, she received her Third Degree in August 2022. Her focus is on journey work, healing through empathy, and encouraging students to find their path through knowledge sharing.
